Katmai's Wildlife:
Bears: Katmai National Park has the largest population of Brown Bears per mile in the entire world. Our wildlife yacht is the prefect way to experience Brown Bears (know also as Grizzlies and Kodiaks) as they fish, interact with one another and raise their cubs. We will take you to see bears catching fish in their mouths at the infamous Brooks Falls as well as get away from the crowds at much more remote creeks within the park (see above video). Our customized itineraries are meant to fill your needs, whether you are an avid bear enthusiased, photographer or just an adventure seeker. We guarantee you will see plenty of the largest predator on Earth!

Wolves: Katmai National Park has a healthy and large population of Grey Wolves. They can be seen fishing for salmon at Brooks Falls (see video on right), hunting Moose in tundra areas and rasing their pups. While they are a rare find, we can spend as much time as you request in searching for these elusive and incredible animals. Our products are unique in the fact that we can comfortably be in an area that wolves are more often seen in less than an hour after watching the Bears fish at Brooks Falls. Look through our customized itineraries to find out more.

Eagles: Bald Eagles are rare in the lower United States. In Colorado, a pair of Eagles nesting at a resevoir make headline news across the state and often create traffic jams. In Katmai, Bald Eagles are not rare, or even talked about. They can be found by scanning the horizon for bright white heads perched atop spruce trees. We will spend time watching these magnificient raptors catching fish and fighting off seagulls. Our customized itineraries allow you as much time as you want to watch and photograph Eagles and their interactions with Brown Bears.

Salmon: All the wildlife in Katmai is dependant on its healthy Salmon population. Their bodies provide nutrients for all wildlife including bears, moose, eagles, wolves and even ducks. We'll spend a lot of time watching these prehistoric animals migrating to their spawning grounds and, for those of you who come in August and September, watching them actually spawn. Our customized itineraries allow you to choose exactly what you would like to spend most of your time exeriencing.
