Day 1-Sun- Courtesy van pick up in king salmon at airport or hotel around noon, a 20 minute van ride to the vessel boarding area near Lake Camp.  1-2 pm anchors up and the trip starts with a breathtaking  cruise across Naknek lake from the mouth of the Naknek River to the heart of Katmai Park to our safari camp while enjoying a  delicious lunch and an orientation with your guide before heading off to get settled into your camp. This will introduce you to Katmai National Park. You'll get a better feel for how wild and free Katmai is as we cruise by  volcanoes, glaciers, rivers and untouched valleys and look for wildlife along the shore during the 4 hour trip.  Local Photography opportunities of Eagles, Bears and lake and Mountain Scenery.

Day 2- Mon -Spend the day at Brooks River Falls photographing Brown bears catching salmon at the falls. There is no better place on Earth to watch bears interact with one another as they fight for fish and teach their cubs to survive. Watch safely from a raised platforms.

Day 3-Tues- We'll get away from the crowds and Photograph and view bears in a much more intimate setting at another small near bye creek . If you are interested in fishing with the bears, this is a great opportunity!

Day 4-Wed- The Valley of 10,000 Smokes is not to be missed. We'll board a van on the only road in all of Katmai National Park. After a scenic 23 mile drive, we'll explore a landscape of deep gorges and accumulated ash- you'll feel like you've stepped onto the moon. For those die hard bear viewers or fisherman- the option is available to stay at Brooks River this day. .

Day 5-Thurs-Our 5 day guests will leave via bush plane around 9am after breakfast from brooks. The guests here for an entire week will have the option to visit brooks again for more Bear viewing from the platforms or hike back into a small stream  after  exploring the Iliuk Arm as we head towards the Savanoski River or Margot Creek. The scenery is epic- huge mountains jutting straight out of the lake, endless wilderness ,fishing or kayaking available.

Days 6 -Friday -explore other remote parts of Naknek Lake in search of wolves, watch bears fish  and visit Fuhres cabin and the bay of islands go fishing or kayaking or more wildlife photography at Idavain Creek., go for a nice remote hike to Grovsener lake or just relax, cruise around and sightsee. The choice is yours.

Day - 7 Saturday- wake up at 7am  have breakfast cruise back to Lake camp and depart by noon, says goodbye and board your flight back to Anchorage Anchorage.
