Day 1- A beautiful flightseeing tour will introduce you to Katmai National Park. You'll get a better feel for how wild and free Katmai is as we fly around volcanoes, glaciers, rivers and untouched valleys. After landing on the water, climb oboard the Katmai Wildlife Yacht for a delicious lunch and an orientation with your guide before heading to Brooks Falls to see the Brown Bears fishing from the falls.

Day 2- Spend the day at Brooks River Falls photographing as giant male bears fight over the best fishing spots. There in no other place in the world more active and exciting to photograph a solitary animal fight for survial as the congregate atop the falls.

Day 3- We'll get away from the crowds and view bears in a much more intimate setting. If you are interested in photographing bears away from the people in more natural setting and without the crowds and platforms, this is a great opportunity!

Day 4- The morning will be spent exploring the Iliuk Arm as we head towards the Savanoski River. The scenery is epic- huge mountains jutting straight out of the lake, endless wilderness and awe-inspiring wildlife. Make sure you bring your wide angle lens, as this day will be filled with perfect opporunity for landscape shots with bears in the background. Our 4 day guests will leave via bush plane after lunch.

Day 5- The Valley of 10,000 Smokes is not to be missed. We'll board a van on the only road in all of Katmai National Park. After a scenic 23 mile drive, we'll explore a landscape of deep gorges and accumulated ash- you'll feel like you've stepped onto the moon. The dramatic colors and contrasts will leave a gigantic smile on your face as you look through your viewfinder. Our 5 day guests will leave via bush plane after lunch.

Days 6, 7 & 8 - The last three days will be spent photographing in your favorite spots of the trip. We'll spend as much as you would like at Brooks Falls or get away from the crowds at lesser known rivers.
